Sweetbriar Suri Alpacas settled comfortably into Jim and Gini Barker's 70-acre "Ohio Western Reserve" farm, surrounded by park with a myriad of wildlife. Raising alpacas has been the family's full-time business since 1996. Gini's participation in the halter and fleece judging programs has helped her to sucessfully select and breed for superior fiber to add luster, enhance the lock, and improve the suri hand along with strengthening conformation and genetics.
